Legislative Contacts

You can contact your legislators in the following ways:

1. Call the Legislative Research Commission. To leave a message
for your Legislator at 1-800-372-7181 (toll free). You will need to inform
them of the legislation you are calling about (i.e. House or Senate Bill,
the number and if you support or oppose the legislation.) The operator
well ask you for your name address and phone number so that the call can
be returned or you may get a letter at the end of the session telling the
outcome of this legislation and thanking you for your interest.

2. You may also contact your legislator at the website http://lrc.ky.gov/ 
or phoning the LRC Information Office at 1-564-8100 ext. #517.

3. You can contact the Governor at 1-502-564-2611. Any postal
correspondence for the Governor needs to be mailed to: Governors Office
700 Capitol Avenue, Suite 100, Frankfort, KY 40601. The governor’s
e-mail is: http://governor.ky.gov .

4. If you are unsure of who your legislator is, you can go to www.vote-smart.org 
and enter your home address & zip code, or call1-888-868-3762, otherwise your
local county clerks office can provide that information.
